About

I’m a 2016 at MIT majoring in Comparative Media Studies with coursework in Computer Science. Above all else, I am a communicator. I’ve always had a knack for writing, but since expanding into tech-oriented media, I’ve developed a passion for UI/UX design and an interest in web development — you can see my project blog here!

Right now, I’m working as an undergraduate researcher in the Creative Communities Initiative group at MIT. My research focus is mixing quantitative research methods with ethnography in order to study fandom and fan behavior in online spaces. Additionally, I’m the Editor for the Arts section of the MIT Tech, and I especially enjoy writing about independent film.

I’m interested in working on projects that enable online communities, participatory media, and transmedia projects.

In my free time, you’ll find me on Tumblr or with my nose in a book. Philosophy is my guilty pleasure, and I am always up for a conversation about metaphysics.
